I bring you words of encouragement after months of battling discouragement myself!
I know I owe you an explanation of where I went. A lot of things happened which I might not be able to share now but instead, I’ll apologize. I’m sorry. If you subscribed to my newsletter then you should have gotten my apology note. If you’re not, do well to subscribe now. I’ll share more stuff and it might be limited to my email list or they get to read it first.

Words of encouragement at odd times

Just wondering, have you ever had people come to you for words of encouragement just when you feel discouraged? If not all, I could bet that most of us have been in such a position. Recently, I’ve found myself relating to people’s struggles, giving them advice, and sharing their burdens with them while I’m silently battling some stuff.
‘You give the best advice’
‘You have the rights words for every time I’m stuck’
‘You are a lifesaver’
… and so much more are reviews people give me every time we have discussions.
Why do I always have the best words for people but I still don’t have my own shit together. I mean, I should actually be living the reality of the advice I give to people. Well, it’s unfortunate that we find it easy to point others in the right direction. This time I had to help myself since I needed to feel better badly.

It’s okay to feel discouraged

One thing I have found out is that every time I listen to people’s experiences, share mine, and also give advice, I always find them applicable to my life.
Since it worked for me, I thought to share it with you too.
It’s okay to feel discouraged. This was one reality I had to accept.
We all feel discouraged at some point in our lives and that’s okay even though I struggled to come to terms with this. I mean, life is not a bed of roses. Life does not always work in our favor and it’s a hard truth to believe. Things happen and we are physically, mentally, financially drained and we just wish for a miracle. When that miracle does not happen, it feels like everything is over. I get it too.
This pandemic has even made it worse but I’m here to tell you that it gets better.

Words of encouragement to motivate you

Have you ever reasoned that life is the way it is just so that we can appreciate the good times while still learning from the bad times? Think about it!  Sometimes you need to feel weak for you to be strong. Your failures, while they do not define you as a person, determine your success.

But how do you get back on track? You need to have support and encouragement. You need to be surrounded by people and things that can serve as your pillars in overcoming whatever life throws at you. That’s why this post is for you.

Encouragement means instilling courage – a brave act that is sometimes more compelling and effective than motivation. Words of encouragement can help you think straight and get back on your feet. They are not just for you to ponder on, but for you to use. They worked for me and so can they work for everyone – anytime, anywhere.

Here are some words of encouragement to help you get by

Some people say that you will never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. Perhaps this is true. We only realize that we are strong when we stumble upon challenges in life, and there is no other way to overcome these challenges except to become strong and face them with all might.

Everything you need to accomplish your goals is already in you. It always seems impossible until it is done. Soon, when all is well, you’re going to look back on this period of your life and be so glad that you never gave up.

Hey fighter, soon things will be brighter. You’re allowed to scream, you’re allowed to cry, but do not give up. When the world says ‘Give up!’, listen to the whispers of hope, ‘Try one more time.’ This, too, shall pass. Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

“Life is very interesting. In the end, some of your greatest pains become your greatest strengths.”– Drew Barrymore

Whether you are going through a major problem in life or merely losing confidence in yourself, sincere and uplifting words of encouragement will undoubtedly improve your perspective in life. I hope this post did just that for you. I hope your face is brighter than it was before you read this blog post. If it is, share with me your thoughts in the comment section. You should share this post with your friends too, I’m sure they will appreciate it.

With love,
