Meet Opeyemi

To the public, I’m Opeyemi Omidiji.
To my family, I’m Opiro.
To old friends and a few people who know some things about me, I’m Pelizzy.
But those are just names, right?
Because at my core, I’m a bubbly young woman who loves life as much as she loves the people she’s surrounded by. I find joy in stories, meaning in moments, and I’m learning to find beauty in both the chaos and calm. I laugh loudly, dream endlessly, overthink occasionally (okay, maybe more than occasionally), and find magic in the little things — like sitting by the beach and watching the waves, a freshly written sentence, or a random deep conversation on a Tuesday.
But to you… What am I?
A stranger? A soon-to-be favorite blog writer? A new internet friend you didn’t know you needed? Whatever I become to you, I’m just happy you’re here.

So, why did I start blogging?
Honestly? I used to read a lot, like, a lot. And somewhere between all the pages, I realized I had my own thoughts too. Big ones. Small ones. Funny, random, serious, soul-deep ones.
I always had something to say. Not in a loud way, but in a this-needs-to-live-somewhere kind of way. That’s how this blog started back in 2020 — as an outlet. A place to pour all those swirling thoughts, mini life lessons, and little joys I couldn’t keep in my head any longer.
Now it’s grown into more than that. It’s a space to connect, reflect, and maybe even make someone out there feel a little more seen.
What I Do (When I’m Not Blogging)
In the real world, I’m a brand communications strategist, a creative writer, and a lover of all things that connect people to ideas and brands that matter. I also offer services in:
Brand strategy consultation.
Copywriting.
Social media management.
Lifestyle content creation.
Simply put, I help brands tell better stories and show up in ways that feel real and unforgettable. Would you like to work with me? Click on the button below.

Some fun facts about me?
I love beans and plantain! I could eat it every day of the week, every week of the month, and every month of the year. Yeah, that’s how much I love it.
Every time there was a challenge or I faced any difficulty, the first thing I think about is a career change. I promise, I can’t explain, and no, I’ve not changed career.
I would rather read hard copies of books than soft copies. Soft copies bore me!
My ears would not let any bad grammar slide! I could literally not be listening to you while you are talking, but once that bad grammar comes out, I hear it.
Oh, I buy bags on impulse! More like I see it, I love it, I want it, and I buy it.
Which brings us to this: my financial decisions are sometimes not the best. But believe me, I’m winging it.
- I love the beach so much that I could live there alone forever, just give me food, internet and electricity… errrmm maybe not alone but you get me. There’s just something about the breeze, the waves, the sound of water splashing that’s therapeutic
Anyways…
You made it here. So, welcome.
I’m so glad you stopped by. I hope you stay a little longer.
There’s always room here for one more, so share my blog with someone.
— With love, light, and lots of laughter,
Pelizzy.
